Terms of Use

Effective Date: July 08, 2026

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website https://www.thebootcode.io and its subdomains (the "Website"), operated by Dr.-Ing. Christian Meurisch R&D Lab, Mühlbachweg 12, D-74889 Sinsheim, Germany ("we", "us", "our"). thebootcode.io is a web-agency practice offering design, development and related digital services to business clients. Please read these Terms carefully; by accessing or using the Website you accept them.

1. Scope and Acceptance

These Terms apply to the informational use of the Website by visitors, including businesses that contact us through it. They do not by themselves create any consulting, development or other service contract. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Website.

Our processing of personal data in connection with the Website is described in our Privacy Policy.

2. Our Services

The Website presents our agency services and lets prospective clients get in touch, for example by requesting an estimate or pitching a project. The content of the Website is provided for general information only and is not a binding offer.

Any actual engagement to provide agency services is concluded and governed exclusively by a separate individual agreement, quote or statement of work agreed in writing between us and the respective client. These Terms of Use do not determine the scope, price, timeline or warranties of such engagements.

3. Intellectual Property

The Website and its content — including text, graphics, logos, images, layout, code and other materials, except content provided by third parties — are protected by copyright and other intellectual-property rights and remain our property or that of our licensors.

You may view and use the Website for your own information. Any other use — in particular reproduction, distribution, public display or modification — requires our prior written consent, unless permitted by mandatory law. Our name, trademarks and trade dress may not be used without our prior written consent.

4. Links to Third-Party Websites

The Website may contain links to third-party websites or services that we neither own nor control. We provide these links for convenience only and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy practices or availability of such third-party sites. The respective provider or operator is solely responsible for their content. We recommend that you review the terms and privacy notices of any third-party site you visit.

5. Availability of the Website

We make reasonable efforts to keep the Website available and its content accurate and up to date. However, the Website is provided as an informational service, and we do not warrant that it will be available without interruption or free of errors. We may adjust, restrict or discontinue the Website or individual functions where there is a valid reason to do so. Your statutory warranty and other mandatory rights remain unaffected.

6. Limitation of Liability

We are liable without limitation for damages arising from injury to life, body or health, and for damages caused by intent or gross negligence.

In the case of slight (ordinary) negligence, we are liable only for the breach of an essential contractual obligation (a "cardinal duty", i.e. an obligation whose fulfilment is essential to the proper performance of the agreement and on whose observance you may regularly rely). In such cases our liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of relationship.

Any further liability for slight negligence is excluded. The above limitations do not apply to liability under the German Product Liability Act (Produkthaftungsgesetz), to liability under any guarantee we have expressly assumed, or to any other statutory liability that cannot be excluded or limited by agreement. The above limitations also apply in favour of our legal representatives and vicarious agents.

7. Changes to These Terms

We may amend these Terms where there is a valid reason to do so, for example to reflect changes in our Website, our services or the applicable legal framework. We will publish the amended Terms on this page with an updated effective date and, where the changes are material, announce them with reasonable advance notice. The version in force at the time of your use of the Website applies.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and your use of the Website are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).

If you are a merchant (Kaufmann), a legal person under public law or a special fund under public law, the exclusive place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms is our registered seat in Sinsheim, Germany. Mandatory consumer-protection provisions of the country in which a consumer has their habitual residence remain unaffected.

9. Severability

Should any provision of these Terms be or become invalid or unenforceable in whole or in part, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected. The invalid or unenforceable provision shall be replaced by the applicable statutory provisions.
